Stewart has worked in the funded work based learning sector for over 20 years and in particular has supported AELP since its formation. Stewart worked as an independent consultant within the training sector, working with a number of training providers and colleges specialising in business development and funding issues. Following a background in HR and general management in the private sector Stewart joined Hertfordshire Training and Enterprise Council in 1994 as Chief Executive until 1998 when Stewart joined Spring Skills as Chief Executive in 1998. Spring Skills was then largest independent training provider in the sector involved in the delivery of a range of programmes in the service sectors such as retail, customer services, hospitality and business administration.

Dr Louise Karwowski, Director of Education, Cognassist 

Louise is passionate about breaking down barriers to learning.
For 14 years, she worked with disabled Higher Education students through the Disabled Students Allowance funding. She saw first-hand that with the correct understanding and tailored support, disabled learners can have an equal chance of success as their peers.
Louise has been at Cognassist since day one, she now supports various teams across the business and leads vital R&D. She is also co-director of the Creative Arts Mental Health Alliance CIC.

Josh's work includes supporting the annual Youth Voice Census, responding to government consultations on policy related to youth employment, supporting the work of Youth Employment UK as the secretariat to the APPG for Youth Employment and ensuring the voice of young people is heard by decision makers.
