General Information


Code of Conduct:

Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. CD Forum 2023 is a business event and appropriate behavior is required (e.g., responsible alcohol consumption). Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Attire

Business Casual attire is appropriate for daytime meetings. Meeting room temperatures may vary. We suggest bringing a light jacket, sweater or scarf.

Evening Events:

  • Opening Reception: We’ll kick-off CD Forum and the holiday season with the whimsy and nostalgia of a Kitschy Christmas at our welcome reception. Join the fun in your most festive “Ugly” holiday sweater – jingle bells, flashy lights and a hint of holiday chaos encouraged!
  • Wednesday Reception & Dinner: Southwest chic - Enjoy a night of Americana – Southwest chic dress attire typically incorporates fashion inspired by vibrant colors, patterns, and textures that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region.
  • Thursday Closing Reception: Texas Casual – Boots and jeans encouraged!

Activities:

  • South Congress Stroll with Kendra Scott Color Bar: Comfortable walking attire for the weather. Light jacket suggested.
  • Street Art, Street Food:  Comfortable walking attire for the weather. Light jacket suggested.
  • Your Biker Gang: Riders must wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for riding a bicycle. All riders must have the capability to ride a bicycle to participate. Riders must be at least 60 inches tall and under 300 lbs. to ride the e-bikes.
  • Lady Bird Lake Kayaking Tour: Depending on weather, 65 degrees and above, shorts/athletic wear. Below 65 degrees, pants, and a sweater. Guests will not get wet. Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended.
  • Wine Tasting with Fairmont: Casual attire and comfortable shoes.

Weather

Average temperatures for November in Austin, Texas are highs in the low 70's and lows are in the low 50's.

Food and Beverage

All planned meals will be hosted. You will have the opportunity to communicate any special dietary needs during the registration process.

Guest Policy

Guests are not invited to attend the meeting.

Health and Safety

ConferenceDirect is committed to hosting a safe event for our Customers, Associates and Partners. We will follow CDC and local guidelines and implement industry best practices. All attendees are required to agree to a liability waiver as part of the registration process, which includes a commitment to follow all policies and procedures, which will be updated as they evolve between now and the respective events. The attendance policy for CD Forum 2023 is as follows:

  • Vaccination is strongly recommended, but not required.
  • Mask wearing is optional at the individual attendee’s discretion.
