Registration/payment questions
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes, advanced registration is required. Registration for the virtual conference will close one week prior to the event, but may close earlier if capacity is reached.
How much is the conference registration fee?
The cost to attend the virtual conference is $45 per person.
How is payment accepted?
We are only able to accept payment by credit card. We cannot accommodate checks or purchase orders.
Can I register for a group of counselors?
Yes, you can add additional people to your registration. You will need to provide the names and email adddresses of all additional registrants. Once completed, each person will receive a confirmation email with a link to update their registration with their personal details. The registration fee applies for each person within a group and payment for the entire group will be required to confirm the registration(s).
Can I cancel my registration if I'm no longer able to attend?
If you are no longer able to attend, we encourage you to cancel your registration so that space can be made available for other interested attendees. If you need to cancel your registration, please email us at cnslrcon@ucop.edu with your registration reference number.
IMPORTANT: Registration fees are nonrefundable.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else at my school if I can no longer attend?
Yes. If you need to transfer your registration to someone else, reach out to us at cnslrcon@ucop.edu and we'd be happy to update the name and email address included in the registration.
Can I switch my registration from an in-person conference to the virtual conference (or vice versa)?
No, we are not able to transfer your registration between events. You would need to submit a new registration for the conference and pay the associated registration fee.
General questions
Will the conference content be the same regardless of which event I attend?
Yes, the conference workshops will be identical across all locations, including the virtual event. We encourage you to attend the conference that works best for you, your schedule and format preference.
Can I attend the conference both virtually and in person?
As noted above, all conference sessions will be the same between the in-person and virtual conferences. Given space limitations, counselors should only register for one conference option. Please note that a registration fee applies for each event. Registration fees are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred to another event date or location.
All presentation PDFs will be made publicly available after the conclusion of the conferences. Additionally, all registered attendees will have access to the recordings from the virtual conference, even if you registered for an in-person event.
