LEARNING OBJECTIVES


At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Standards of Care: Improve timely workup, diagnosis, management, and referral for eye conditions, neck & back pain, depression & anxiety, skin conditions
  • Communication: Communicate more efficiently and productively in a difficult patient encounter for a win-win scenario with various patient populations
  • Quality: Apply practice pearls from UCC QI and/or Radiology/x-ray interpretation sessions
  • Hands-on Techniques: Demonstrate (a) use of Point of Care Ultrasound to assess for improved diagnosis of common conditions in UC setting; and/or (b) best practices for simple laceration repair/suture technique in peds vs adults in the UC setting - especially with considerations to facial and irregular shaped lacerations

Nurses and Physician Assistants – Attendees may report up to 5.25 hours toward continuing education requirements for license renewal. ‘CME’ can be written in lieu of the provider number on all licensure renewal applications.
