What is the AMSN Annual Convention?
The AMSN Annual Convention is a three-day event that provides hundreds of healthcare professionals an opportunity to network, collaborate, and obtain essential knowledge about emerging trends and best practices.
Who should attend the AMSN Annual Convention?
This can’t-miss convention is designed for clinical nurses, care coordinators, nurse leaders and educators, clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, administrators, researchers, and students.

What kind of topics will be covered at the AMSN Annual Convention?
This year’s schedule of events is jam-packed full of sessions surrounding clinical studies, interprofessional and collaboration strategies, ways to create and sustain healthy practice environments, as well as evidence-based practice and research.
How many continuing education credits can I earn for attending?
The AMSN Annual Convention will provide an opportunity to earn up to 12 nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours through in-person attendance, and more than 30 contact hours including enduring materials and conference recordings.

How much does it cost to attend the AMSN Annual Convention?

When is the registration deadline?
Early bird registration has been extended to July 28, 2023. Following that date, prospective registrants are required to register at the standard rate.
Are there special discounts offered to members of the military?
Yes, active members of the military have the opportunity to purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $449, regardless of whether the early bird deadline has passed or not. To register at the military rate, email registration@amsn.org a copy of your military ID.
Is there a group discount available?
Yes! Groups of three of more people from the same Primary Practice can get 10% off their general registration. To receive the discount, one person from the group must download the Group Discount Excel Spreadsheet and send it back to registration@amsn.org. The spreadsheet must remain in the Excel format. If someone from your team registers before you receive the discount, they will not be eligible for a refund. Each group's point of contact will receive the discount codes after all eligible parties have been uploaded in the annual convention registration database. Is there a registration option for guests?
Yes! Guest registration costs an additional $75 for members and $99 for non-members. This will give guests access to the Opening Reception in the Exhbit Hall on Thursday.
What is the cancellation/substitution policy?
AMSN will provide a full refund of registration fees, less an administrative processing fee of $75, for any cancellations received in writing on or before August 21, 2023. Cancellations should be directed to registration@amsn.org. Telephone cancellations are NOT accepted for refunds. Participant must obtain confirmation of receipt of email from AMSN on or before the cancellation deadline. All refunds will be processed at the conclusion of the Annual Convention to the original form of payment. After August 21, 2023, there will be no refunds for registrations cancelled whatsoever. Substitutions can be made, without a fee, by contacting the registration team at registration@amsn.org. Hotel reservations must be cancelled separately and directly with the hotel.

Where will the AMSN Annual Convention take place?
AMSN is excited to host the Annual Convention at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rooms are available for booking at a reduced rate through August 28, 2023, or until the room blocks are filled.
How much does it cost to stay at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino?
AMSN Annual Convention attendees can book a single- or double-bed room at a rate of $149 plus $16.99 Resort Fee and 13.38% tax per night through August 28, 2023, or until the AMSN-exclusive block is full. The room rate will increase by $10 per night for additional persons.
How do I book a room in AMSN’s block?
Once you’ve registered for the Annual Convention, you will receive a confirmation email in your inbox. Please refer to that message to find a link to the housing portal and further details about the hotel.
To take advantage of the AMSN-discounted rate, be sure to book your reservation on or before August 28, 2023. After August 28, the AMSN room block will be released and the negotiated room rates may not be available. Please make sure the hotel is aware of any special needs. They will assign specific room types and any other requests based on availability.
How do I know if my reservation went through?
The hotel will send you a confirmation to the email used in booking your reservation using the customized online reservation link provided by AMSN. Review it carefully for accuracy and keep a copy for your records.
How do I change or cancel my hotel room?
The Westgate Las Vegas requires that you cancel your reservation 72 hours prior to your arrival by 4:00 p.m. hotel time. The deposit of one night's room and tax will be forfeited for cancellations made less than 72 hours from arrival. Please call the hotel directly to make a cancellation and keep your cancellation confirmation number for your records. Name changes can be made to reservations any time prior to check-in, without incurring a fee.
