CLIMATE AND CLOTHING

The average temperature in Glen Rose during the month of August is a high of 100° F and a low of 80° F. Casual, comfortable clothing is recommended throughout the weekend. A bathing suit, cover-up, hat and sunscreen are also suggested. You will need closed-toe shoes for horseback riding, the climbing wall and Mules. Long pants are required for horseback riding.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

1. Take IH-35 south from downtown Dallas.
2. Approximately 5 miles south of downtown Dallas take Hwy 67.
3. You will stay on Hwy 67 for 80 miles.
4. Turn left onto County Road 2013 and go 4 miles.
5. You will see the Rough Creek gate on your right.
6. Enter through the gate and go 3 miles and you will arrive at the Lodge.
