LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Incorporate efficient new evidence-based approaches to workup, diagnosis, management, patient education, and/or referral for patients with common acute and chronic conditions -- including obesity, CHF, skin conditions, pelvic floor disorders, Alzheimer's dementia, those for which x-rays need interpretation, and hot topics in Family Medicine
  • Apply learning from QI/Medical Legal cases discussed to improve our documentation, patient communication, timeliness of medical care, and patient outcomes
  • Improve equitable care by addressing needs of specific patient populations across the lifespan, and recognizing/mitigating provider bias in context of cases discussed
