#2 Wine Tasting Cruise
Join Black Cat Cruises and local Canterbury vineyard Melton Estate for a two hour scenic cruise around Lyttelton harbour.
During the cruise Melton Estate will guide you through a complimentary tasting of five spectacular wines.
Delicious platters provided by our local catering partner will also be served as you sip on wine and take in the stunning harbour scenery.
Additional drinks on top of tastings can be purchased on board.
#3 Zip Lining
Experience the highest and longest zip lines in New Zealand.
Firstly guests will enjoy a chair lift to the top of the park and then guests will make their way down via four individual zip lines, all finished off with a voucher to spend for afternoon tea at The Handle Cafe.
Please note there is a weight limit for the zipline, you need to be under 125kg - this is non negotiable and will be strictly adhered to.
#4 Mountain Biking
Enjoy three hours of riding up to 50 combinations of expert tracks in a purpose built adventure park - all downhill. This activity includes chair lift passes to get you to the top.
Please note that this is subject to availability as there are only so many bike sizes per height range - all participants will require to let us know their heights.
#5 Golf
Harewood poses invigorating challenges for golfers of all ages and skill levels, with a choice of tees to suit all abilities. The Club boasts some of the best practice facilities in the South Island with a 23-bay covered driving range, large grass teeing areas and a fantastic short game practice area and putting green.
#6 Dumpling Making
At Pot Sticker we're on a mission to make people as mad about dumplings as we are. All we care about is creating legendary, world class dumplings that blow people’s minds. Some say this is an unhealthy relationship with these little potstickers - maybe, but we think that's what make them so damn good.
Tram and Punting Experience - sorry this option is no longer available
The iconic Tramway Restaurant will take guests on a unique tour of the city in a beautifully refurbished tram while enjoying a fine dining lunch. This tour will then finish with a 30 minute Punting experience on the Avon River.
Ripapa Island Cruise - sorry this option is no longer available
Join us aboard the Spirit for a short cruise and canapés on your way to explore this small island with a big history!
Tucked close against the southern shore of Whakaraupō (Lyttelton Harbour), the small island of Ripapa was an ideal site for a fortified pa for Ngāi Tahu and later, a fortress to defend against possible Russian attacks.
Your 2hr experience will include time cruising the majestic Lyttelton as well as a round 1hr on the island to explore the tunnels and gun emplacements.
Sensible walking shoes are recommended.
