Program Details

Please join LLS for a FREE in-person education program for patients and their families.

Participants will gain a better understanding about integrative approaches to cancer care. Dr. Sarah Astorga will discuss topics such as lifestyle, medicine, nutrition, movement, mind-body care, and side effect support before, during and after cancer treatment. Following this presentation, Emily Hysjulien will discuss the role of acupuncture in integrative medicine as well as possible benefits.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about resources available in their community and those provided by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
