OVERVIEW
Costimulatory molecules have an important role in T cell-mediated immune responses and the maintenance of T cell tolerance. Better understanding of the complexities of the costimulatory pathways has facilitated the use of costimulatory blockade to modulate alloimmune responses and prolong graft survival. In this upcoming live event, an expert panel will discuss the role of costimulatory pathways in transplantation and therapeutic targets in the costimulatory pathways.
GOAL STATEMENT
The goal of this activity is for learners to better understand the role of costimulatory pathways and targets in transplantation and to apply lessons learned from the past few decades to future clinical trial design for emerging costimulatory blocking therapeutics.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants will: Have greater competence related to
[item]Describing the role of costimulatory pathways in transplantation[item]Developing impactful clinical trial design for emerging costimulatory therapeutics
Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
[item]Recognize therapeutic targets in the costimulation pathway
