The tours will offer a unique chance to learn about the latest technologies and innovations while getting an up-close look at how these businesses operate. You'll have the chance to meet and learn from industry professionals and gain a deeper understanding of the local agricultural industry.
Tour Option #1 - GLC Minerals (limit 30 people)
GLC Minerals invites you to join them for a behind-the-scenes experience at their Green Bay processing facility. You'll learn the science of minerals; understand why mineral supplements are essential for healthy dairy herds; tour GLC's Dryer, Mill and Packaging facility; talk with mineral experts and discover how producers run more efficient operations while optimizing animal health and nutrition.
Tour Option #2 - Schreiber Foods (THIS TOUR IS FULL)
Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Schreiber Foods, a customer-brand leader in cream cheese, natural cheese, process cheese, beverages and yogurt. Headquartered in Green Bay, this is your opportunity to learn more about how milk is transformed into a variety of products around the world. It will offer a platform for organizations, businesses and individuals to discuss their sustainable initiatives and practices while inspiring others to enhance their sustainability efforts.
Farmers for Sustainable Food Annual Meeting
