Basic Investigation Principles: Digging into the Root Causes

Accidents in the workplace are preventable - so why do these incidents still happen? This course explores the principles and methods for digging into the root causes of a workplace incident to prevent future injuries and illnesses.  Course participants will leave with a basic understanding of the procedure for incident investigation, using root cause analysis and an introductory understanding of appropriate preventive measures or corrective actions.

Mental Health Basic C.A.R.E. 

Instructor: Tony Cloud
  A giant killer is silently spreading across America. 'Deaths of Despair' through alcohol abuse, drug overdose and death by suicide are outpacing other causes of death as people seek relief from mental health challenges. This course teaches how to Create Connection, Assess for Risks of Suicide or Harm, Reflectively Listen, and Encourage Self-Help & Professional Support. Learn how to recognize and respond to
the two most common mental health challenges that people are
experiencing - depression and anxiety.

Building a Complete Construction Safety In-House Training Program

Instructor: Kris Alberti

There are over 20 required training programs for Construction employees.  This program will cover the training requirements and resources related to Construction Work performed under WAC 296-155. Attendees will learn how to determine which programs are required, and recieve practical help to setup training materials and forms. Topics such as new hire training, budgeting, and scheduling will be covered.
