Nishi Shah, MD, MPH

Nishi Shah, MD, MPH, is an attending physician with the Hematologic Malignancies Program at Montefiore Medical Center and Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine (Oncology) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include treatment of multiple myeloma, lymphoma and other hematologic malignancies, especially using CAR-T cell and stem cell transplant as a platform to treat these disorders.
Dr. Shah is part of a multi-disciplinary team that treats patients with the entire spectrum of blood cancers with some of the most advanced and novel therapies available. She received her medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India and came to the United States to pursue further education. She received a Master's in Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Shah completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Montefiore and pursued an additional year of training with a fellowship in Immunotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center before returning as a faculty member at Montefiore.
Dr. Shah is excited to bring clinical trials focused on relapsed/refractory myeloma and lymphoma to Montefiore. Her other interests include clinical research using large datasets to answer important questions in management of patients.

AnnaRose Fragale, LMSW

AnnaRose Fragale, LMSW is a social worker at Montefiore Medical Center. AnnaRose specializes in Hematology/Oncology/BMT and worked on the medicine inpatient unit for two years before transitioning to the oncology unit in October 2022.
AnnaRose ensures the safety and overall wellbeing for patients when they are admitted and discharged home. AnnaRose was inspired to join the oncology team after her brother-in-law passed away in June 2022 due to epithelioid vascular angiosarcoma. AnnaRose is continuing to broaden her knowledge in the oncology field.

Alexandra Rivera, LMSW is a social worker at Montefiore Medical Center. Alexandra specializes in Hematology/Oncology/ BMT and worked on the inpatient unit for two and a half years before transitioning to the outpatient oncology clinic in October 2022.
Alexandra is dedicated and devoted to connecting her patients to resources and advocating for their needs. In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys reading and spending time with her cat.
