This orientation will be delivered using SparQ, HLC's collaborative learning hub. Office hours will take place on Zoom. Attendees, or their respective institutions, are responsible for installing and configuring any software or hardware necessary to participate.
 
Participants with high-speed internet access should already have everything needed to participate in the course. Use the latest version of Google Chrome (preferred), Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge for the best user experience.

Resources

Before the event, you will receive an email from sparq@hlcommission.org with login information that will give you access to all course materials and activities in SparQ. If you do not receive this email, check your spam/promotions folders first, then contact programming@hlcommission.org.
 

HLC will send additional Zoom guidelines, and event-specific instructions will be sent to registered attendees closer to the event date.

Materials

The course syllabus will be emailed to each confirmed participant before the start date of the course. In addition, SparQ will include all other materials and links for participation and will be available when the training opens on June 5, 2023.

 

Participants with high-speed internet connections should be able to connect to SparQ. ALOs or their respective institutions are responsible for purchasing any software upgrades necessary to participate in the online course.
