Each year, Dscoop looks forward to creating a valuable experience for our members and partners at Dscoop Edge. It’s one of the critical ways we support our community’s ongoing education, collaboration, and business growth. However, the health of our Dscoop community is of the utmost importance to us.

Dscoop has been closely monitoring the latest information regarding COVID-19. To protect the well-being of our attendees, partners, speakers, and employees, the Dscoop global Board — comprised of HP executives, Dscoop PSP members, and Dscoop leadership — has decided to reschedule Edge Orlando 2020 to a later date, still to be determined. We will keep you updated as soon as possible.

Given the vast amount of preparation that goes into our Edge events, this is not a decision Dscoop has taken lightly. To all of our registered PSPs and partners, we thank you for your engagement and participation, and for your understanding at this difficult time. Dscoop will continue to support your education, technology insights, networking, and business growth now and at the rescheduled Dscoop Edge event.

Please take advantage of the hundreds of education sessions, webinars, training workshops, and inspirational customer stories on Dscoop.com, and the networking and collaboration opportunities through Find a Pro and the forums. Also in the interim, we are diligently researching additional ways to bring you the content you want most.

FAQs: Rescheduling the Edge Conference

Q: Why was Edge Orlando 2020 rescheduled?

Answer: Dscoop looks forward each year to creating a valuable experience for members and partners at the Dscoop Edge conferences. However, the health of our community is of the utmost importance to us. The Dscoop global Board, which is comprised of HP executives, Dscoop PSP members and Dscoop leaders, closely monitored the latest information regarding the COVID-19 virus (“coronavirus”). To protect the well-being of attendees, partners, speakers, and employees, the global Board decided to reschedule Edge Orlando 2020, at a date to be determined. We will provide updates and details as soon as possible.

Given the vast amount of preparation that goes into our Edge events, this is not a decision Dscoop has taken lightly. We thank all registered attendees and partners for your engagement and participation, and your understanding at this difficult time.

Dscoop will continue to support the education, technology insights and business growth goals of our members and partners now and at the rescheduled Dscoop Edge event. Please take advantage of the hundreds of education sessions, webinars, training, inspirational customer stories, and the networking and collaboration opportunities through Find a Pro and the forums, on Dscoop.com. Q: When and where will the rescheduled Edge take place?

Answer: Dscoop and its global Board are working closely to determine the best plan for the rescheduled event. We’ll provide new details as soon as possible and communicate with our community through all our channels.

When it’s held on the rescheduled date, Dscoop Edge will bring the same value attendees and partners have come to expect: an empowering, energized event that helps the entire digital print community learn and grow. Attendees will hear from experts, analysts, academics, innovators and fellow PSPs. They’ll develop business and leadership skills, receive hands-on technical training, hear about current industry and market trends, and see and learn about the newest portfolio from HP and the latest innovations from our partners. The Dscoop Edge Solutions Showcase will continue to be THE place for partners to showcase their capabilities and connect with PSPs.

Q: Will I receive a refund?

Answer: Dscoop Edge is not being canceled; it is being rescheduled due to a situation beyond Dscoop’s control. All paid registration fees and partner agreements remain valid and have been automatically allocated to the rescheduled event. The Dscoop team understands you may have questions, and we are here to help. Email us, and a team member will respond as quickly as possible.

Q: What about hotel reservations?

Answer: If you booked your stay at the host hotel, Orlando World Center Marriott, through the Dscoop conference website, your reservation will be automatically removed and, if applicable, refunded. You should receive an email confirmation on or before March 29. If you have any questions, call the hotel directly at 407-239-4200.

Also regarding hotel reservations:

  • If you booked your stay at a different hotel, independently of Dscoop, please contact your hotel about its booking policies as soon as possible.
  • If you booked your stay directly with Orlando World Center Marriott (not through the Dscoop conference website), please contact the hotel directly to remove your reservation as soon as possible.

Q: Does Dscoop reimburse for travel expenses?

Answer: No. However, many airline carriers have policies in place regarding the COVID-19 virus and its impact on travel. Please check with your airline carrier about its ticketing policy.

Q: Is the COVID-19 virus affecting other planned Dscoop events?

Answer: Yes. In light of the situation, all Dscoop Edge Local activities in all three regions (EMEA, AMS and APJ) are postponed until further notice. Like the postponement of Edge, this is to protect the well-being of our attendees and partners.

As mentioned in an answer above, Dscoop will continue to support the education, technology insights and business growth goals of our members and partners through multiple channels, including online. We are diligently researching alternative ways to bring you the content you most want and need. We’ll provide new details as soon as possible.

Q: I am a Dscoop Edge partner and have already shipped materials to the advance warehouse at AGS Expo. What should I do?

Answer: If you need the materials returned to you, Dscoop will ask AGS to ship it to the return address on the materials. If it can wait in the advance warehouse until the new, rescheduled Edge Orlando dates, Dscoop will ask AGS to keep it until then. If you have further questions about your materials, please email us.

Q: As a Dscoop Edge partner, what do I need to do about orders I placed for exhibit services such as electricity, compressed air, etc.?

Answer: Dscoop will reach out to GES Exhibits to keep your order until the new, rescheduled dates for Edge Orlando. If you have further questions about your exhibit services, please email us.

Q: What if I have further questions?

Answer: The Dscoop team values your questions and comments, and we are here to help. Email us, and a team member will respond as quickly as possible.
