What is the schedule for the conference? ▼
Please see the Schedule posted. Please note that exact times may change. View the tentative Schedule here
What are the check-in/out times? ▼
All participants should arrive Thursday between 3-5pm. All participants will depart on Sunday at 11:15 am.
To ensure a smooth and meaningful experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all attendees arrive during their designated check-in window. We’re unable to accommodate early check-ins, and arriving late may mean missing important opening activities.
We also respectfully request that participants stay through the scheduled end of the conference
Are there any options for financial assistance? ▼
Your county may be providing financial support to attend the State Leadership Conference. Please be prepared to supply the level of support your county is providing on your registration. The State 4-H office is also offering registration fee assistance for this conference. Please complete the Financial Assistance application if you are interested.
What payment methods are accepted? ▼
Please contact your county 4-H office to clarify payment options. If you are paying with a check, please submit payment to your county office by July 8, 2026. No personal checks from individual registrants will be accepted by the State 4-H office. Conference fee payment options include:
-
Full fee by credit card.
- Partial payment by credit card.
- If your county is collecting fees and planning to send us one county-issued check for all of that county’s participants, you can register and choose that option.
If paying by check, submit to your county office by July 8, 2025. Personal checks will not be accepted by the State 4-H office.
I’m 13 but all my friends are 14. Can I be part of the senior Program Assistant groups instead of the facilitator groups? ▼
For this conference, we've set the age ranges for each group carefully to make sure the sessions and activities are the right fit developmentally. Because of that, we’re asking everyone to stay within their designated age group.
I’m in the Senior/Intermediate Group but I want to do an activity/workshop of another group? ▼
To make sure everyone has the best and most appropriate experience, we ask that all participants stay with their assigned age group. Each group’s schedule is designed specifically for their age range, so joining another group’s activities isn’t possible.
I have [insert commitment] and can only arrive on Friday is that ok? ▼
We understand that you have [insert commitment]. However, due to the way the conference is structured, we’re not able to accommodate late arrivals. The first day includes essential check-in, orientation, and group-building activities that set the foundation for the rest of the event.
Are there transportation options available? ▼
We encourage attendees to coordinate carpools with others from their county whenever possible. If you are unsure who else from your county is attending the conference, please contact your county 4-H Professional for assistance.
For participants traveling by plane or train, limited transportation support may be available from the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) or the Davis Amtrak Station. To request transportation assistance, please provide your arrival and departure details on your online registration form. Our team will review your request and confirm whether accommodations can be provided.
I have dietary restrictions. Can they be accommodated? ▼
Yes please put this in your registration and we will connect you with the dietary folks at UC Davis Campus Dining to ensure your dietary restrictions are met. When we are eating away from the dining commons (i.e. some Friday missions) if the food cannot meet you dietary needs we can work on getting food from the dining commons.
Can I check out early on Sunday? ▼
Please plan to stay through the end of the conference, on Sunday at 11:15 am. Early departures create logistical challenges for our team and may impact the experience for others. Of course, we understand that unexpected family emergencies may arise but please give us as much notice as possible if this happens.
