Program Highlights

Blood cancer affects individuals of all kinds, and having access to all the right resources can be difficult.

African Americans carry twice the risk of developing myeloma, a form of blood cancer, than any other other race or ethnicity which is why The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) has implemented a nationwide initiative called Myeloma Link to address these health inequities, advocate for black cancer patients, and break down barriers which lead to lower access to care.

Join LLS on Wednesday, April 26th for a free patient education program under our Myeloma Link initiative on how to navigate the cancer system to access important resources and connect with various healthcare professionals trained to guide you through every step of the way. We will be addressing health disparities surrounding cancer, specifically myeloma, in African American communities.

  • Gain knowledge about blood cancers, including myeloma.
  • Learn about specific roles within the healthcare system.
  • Find the best method for gathering reliable information.
  • Receive information on LLS resources.

You should never feel alone when battling cancer, and LLS is here to provide meaningful support through quality care and empower patients to work towards a healthy recovery process.

COMPLIMENTARY DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

We hope you can join us for this free education event!
