PRE-CONFERENCE

Q: How many continuing education hours can I receive at WOW? 

A: Choose from a robust amount of educational sessions and earn up to 25 continuing education hours for attending the full conference. An additional 6.25 hours will be available through viewing poster sessions. Click HERE for Posters at a Glance. Q: Can I change which sessions I chose after registering?

A: Yes. Please modify your registration HERE.

Q: What is included with my registration? 

A: As a participant of the WOW main conference, your registration includes the following: Lunch Thursday – Saturday, a Tote bag with product samples, Access to the exhibit hall on Thursday and Friday, (01) ticket to the reception on Thursday, One-year unlimited CE standard subscription to Nurse.com with state renewal packages, a total value of $780+!

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Cancellations and/or transfers must be submitted in writing to coursesupport@relias.com. Cancellations received per written notification by August 7, 2023, will receive a refund (less a $75 processing fee). No refunds will be made after midnight on August 7, 2023. 

Q: What COVID-19 safety measures are being implemented at WOW 2023? 

A: Together with the Diplomat Beach Resort, we are working to ensure that your safety is a top priority.  You can read more about how The Diplomat is working to go above and beyond standard practices here. Q: How do I submit a poster abstract?

A: Thank you for your interest in submitting a poster for the 2023 Wild On Wounds™ (WOW) national conference. A review committee will approve the posters. Details, guidelines, and the submission form are available on wcei.net. The submission deadline for posters is May 31, 2023.

ADA ACCOMMODATIONS
If you are a person with a disability who needs an accommodation to participate fully in a course offered during the conference, please indicate the need for special assistance by email to: coursesupport@relias.com. Requests less than 4 weeks prior to event may not be possible.

 

SHOW TIME!

Q: Where should I stay?

A: WOW will be held at The Diplomat Beach Resort. A limited number of hotel rooms have been reserved and are being offered to WOW conference attendees at the special rate of $219/night*. Mention room block group code: Wild on Wounds (WOW). To book your hotel online, click here. To reserve by phone, call the Reservation Center at 1-855-689-2911. Group rate will be available until Friday, August 11, 2023. After this date, any new reservations or extensions to existing reservations will be subject to hotel availability at the hotel's prevailing rate. 

*NOTE - OPTIONAL RESORT FEE: Sleeping room rates are quoted exclusive of applicable resort fees. Therefore, in addition to the sleeping room rate, the daily resort charge, currently $39 per room per night, plus applicable state and local tax will be posted for opt-in and will cover the following:

  • 10% Off Cabana Rentals
  • Complimentary Guestroom Wi-Fi Access for up to 5 Devices
  • Complimentary Local & 800 Phone Calls
  • Daily 1-Hour on All Non-Motorized Water Sports

*Room rates are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes and/or possible fees levied by the Hotel at the time of the meeting.

Q: What should I bring to the sessions each day?

A: You must bring your badge each day. We do not offer replacements. Your badge is your ticket to all sessions and events.

Q: What is the dress code? 

A: Although the weather outside is warm, we highly recommend you wear pants and/or bring a sweater to the sessions. As much as we try to manage the temperature, often, the rooms can be quite chilly.

Q: Will food and drinks be provided?

A: There are three sponsored, first-come-first-served breakfasts on Thursday morning — see Agenda for details and to register. Thursday – Saturday, we will offer morning coffee, lunch, and of course dinner will be served at the Thursday night, poolside party along with plenty of entertainment and fun activities. 

Q: Can I register onsite?

A: Yes, onsite registration will be available.
