340B University Registration

Registration Information

Apexus offers 340B University, an educational program designed to meet the practical needs of 340B stakeholders. 340B University features a broad range of educational sessions, covering the following topics:

  • 340B basics
  • Program integrity and audits
  • Duplicate discount prevention and Medicaid
  • Inventory management in various settings
  • 340B pricing and purchasing fundamentals

Participants learn from 340B subject matter experts and experienced faculty. Continuing education credit is available for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. There is no fee to attend this training and conference registration is not required.

Target Audience: This program is targeted to individuals responsible for 340B program operations and oversight at covered entities as well as all other 340B stakeholders, including vendors, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, contract pharmacies, and hospital/grantee leadership.
340B University Session

Objectives

Upon completion of 340B University, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the intent, eligibility requirements, and compliance cornerstones of the 340B Program.
  • Discuss oversight best practices to implement 340B policies using dedicated resources.
  • Define perspectives and responsibilities of pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesale distributors in providing 340B pricing to covered entities.
  • Explain different areas in which 340B drugs may be used, including outpatient areas, mixed-use areas, entity-owned pharmacies, and contract pharmacy arrangements.
  • Identify the roles and responsibilities of 340B implementation and monitoring.

340B University meets these objectives in a one-day, intensive learning experience that mixes traditional lecture and interactive/practical application learning formats.

You must enroll to attend a 340B University event. Early enrollment is encouraged. When this event reaches capacity, a wait list will go into effect.

 

The 2024 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition is being held in New Orleans, Louisiana.

ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition registration is not required to attend 340B University. To register and attend this conference being held December 8-12, visit their conference website.
