Adjusting to life after a blood cancer diagnosis can be challenging and taking care of your health and wellbeing becomes a critical part of recovery and survivorship. This free, in-person education program will shed new light on the importance of diet, nutrition, and exercise through cancer rehabilitation.
Please join us as our expert speakers will discuss diet modifications for symptom management, food safety, and drug and food interactions, as well as the role cancer rehabilitation plays in helping patients prepare for treatment and maintain strength throughout their journey. Attendees will hear from a local patient who will share the benefits they experienced by prioritizing nutrition and exercise throughout their journey.
Resources available in the community and those provided by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will also be shared.
We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members to attend with you.
We hope you can join us for this free in-person education event!
