Registration Information

Apexus offers 340B University, an educational program designed to meet the practical needs of 340B stakeholders. 340B University features a broad range of educational sessions, covering the following topics:

  • 340B basics
  • Program integrity and audits
  • Duplicate discount prevention and Medicaid
  • Inventory management in various settings
  • 340B pricing and purchasing fundamentals

Participants learn from 340B subject matter experts and experienced faculty. Continuing education credit is available for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. There is no fee to attend this training.

Target Audience: This program is targeted to individuals responsible for 340B program operations and oversight at covered entities as well as all other 340B stakeholders, including vendors, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, contract pharmacies, and hospital/grantee leadership.

Objectives

Upon completion of 340B University, participants will be able to:

  • Outline covered entity eligibility criteria and program compliance requirements.
  • Discuss oversight best practices to implement 340B policies using dedicated resources.
  • Explain inventory management principles for 340B use in various settings, such as outpatient clinics/departments and entity-owned or contracted pharmacies.
  • Describe the role of the manufacturer, wholesaler, and Prime Vendor in 340B pricing integrity.
  • Identify and address challenges in day-to-day program implementation.

340B University meets these objectives in a one-day, intensive learning experience that mixes traditional lecture and interactive/practical application learning formats.

You must enroll to attend a 340B University event. Early enrollment is encouraged. When this event reaches capacity, a wait list will go into effect.

 

National Pharmacy Purchasing Association (NPPA) Conference CE educational sessions will be held August 15-17, at the Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. (Begins the day after the Apexus 340B University).

NPPA Conference registration is not required to attend 340B University. To register and attend the NPPA Conference CE educational sessions being held August 15-17, visit their conference website.
