Poster Guidelines

  • Posters should be designed in landscape orientation.
  • The recommended size for posters is 48 inches wide by 36 inches tall.
  • Posters should be easily readable from a 6-foot distance.
  • Use a font size of at least 24 points for the main text and 18 points for figure captions.
  • Posters should be well-organized and visually appealing, with a clear information hierarchy and effective use of headings, subheadings, and bullet points.
  • All images, tables, and graphs should be clearly labeled and have a concise caption explaining their content.

Poster Formatting Requirements

  • Posters must be printed on paper or other materials that can be mounted on an easel using pins or clips.
  • Avoid using dark or busy backgrounds, as they can make text and figures challenging to read. Consider using contrasting colors for the text and background to improve readability.
  • Use high-resolution images and graphics to make them clear and crisp when printed at the poster size.
  • The poster’s title should be displayed at the top, followed by the authors’ names and affiliations.
  • Use a clear and concise abstract that summarizes your research's main objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • The poster should be organized in sections, with clear headings and subheadings that highlight the main aspects of your research.
  • Include a reference list at the end of the poster, citing all sources used in the presentation.
  • Use figures, graphs, and tables to illustrate your data, but keep them simple.
  • Use bullet points or numbered lists to highlight key findings and conclusions.
