Roundtable Discussion: Realigning Work Priorities to Mitigate Moral Distress
ABSTRACT
Facilitated by a moderator and panelists representing the scope of multisite case management practice, audience members are invited to share best practices and solutions from their practice sites. Achieving balance while maintaining a commitment to meet role performance expectations, addressing patient and community needs and complying with standards and regulations leads to burnout and moral distress among health care professionals. This interactive session examines sources of distress and uses case examples to explore the application of various strategies.
Learning objectives
1. Identify two top challenges in your roles and case management practice.
2. Describe two creative approaches, solutions, or best practices you have applied.
