Hotel

• We have arranged for special Pharma Summit group rates at hotels in Schaffhausen. At this time, rooms in our block are still available at Hotel Promenade and a very small number at Vienna House. 
• With the exception of Vienna House, these hotels are small, family run hotels with a variety of unique rooms. 
• Room rates vary between the hotels, and are for single occupancy. If there will be more than one person in the room, an additional fee will be charged and differs at each hotel. 
• Room rates listed do not include the city tax of CHF 2.50 per person per day. 
• Note that the room/bed types available at two of the hotels may only be comfortable for one person.
• All hotels are within 5-10 minutes walking distance of the meeting venue. 
• All hotels include breakfast. Please enjoy breakfast at your hotel, as it will not be provided at the meeting venue. 
• Meeting Services will submit your hotel needs to the hotel you select, but you will provide your credit card upon arrival/check-in to pay for your room. Please do not book your hotel room on your own for these nights. 

Vienna House 

Address: Bleicheplatz 1, 8201 Schaffhausen

Opened in 2014, the contemporary Vienna House zur Bleiche Schaffhausen is located on the edge of the Old Town of Schaffhausen, adjacent to train station and close to the idyllic city centre. Each room provides a flat-screen satellite TV and bathrooms with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Guests can enjoy a drink in the bar and enjoy the included breakfast in the restaurant.

At this time, there are only Comfort Twin rooms remaining at Vienna House. The Ascent Pharma Summit room block at Vienna House includes Comfort Twin rooms for CHF 179.00 and Superior Twin rooms for CHF 189.00 (on a higher floor than the Comfort rooms.) These rates include breakfast for one person, wifi and a bottle of water, but there is an additional 2.50 each day for city tax. If there is more than one person in the room, there is an additional fee of CHF 15.00 per day.

Best Western Hotel Bahnhof

Address: Bahnhofstrasse 46, 8200 Schaffhausen

This room block has been filled/is closed. The Best Western Plus Hotel Bahnhof is a family-run, modern four-star hotel centrally located in Schaffhausen. Our hotel is situated just opposite the train station, close to the pedestrian area, shopping and business facilities. Our rooms feature a remote control cable television and desk/work area.

The Ascent Pharma Summit room block at the Best Western Hotel Bahnhof are single rooms at a rate of CHF 180. This rate includes breakfast for one person, wifi, use of the gym, and a bottle of water, but there is an additional 2.50 each day for city tax. If there will be more than one person in your room, we suggest selecting from one of the other hotel options.

Hotel Promenade

Address: Fasenstaubstrasse 43, 8200 Schaffhausen

Located amid a park-style garden, this family-run hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the Schaffhausen Train Station and the city center. It offers a restaurant with a garden terrace, and free Wi-fi. Rooms are accessible by elevator and come with a TV and a private bathroom including a hairdryer.

The Ascent Pharma Summit room block at the Hotel Promenade are all single rooms with one bed at a rate of CHF 175.00. This rate includes breakfast for one person, but there is an additional 2.50 each day for city tax. If there will be more than one person in your room, we suggest you select from one of the other hotel options. 

Hotel Kronenhof

Address: Kirchhofplatz 7, 8200 Schaffhausen 

This room block has closed. In the middle of Schaffhausen’s old town, Hotel Kronenhof offers guests a small but fine 3-star hotel with 42 rooms and suites. The stylish rooms at the Kronenhof feature cable TV and a bathroom with hairdryer. Schaffhausen Train Station is a 5-minute walk away.

The Ascent Pharma Summit room block at Hotel Kronenhof includes single rooms (one person only) at CHF 140.00, and Economy Double Rooms at CHF 150.00 and 160.00. These rates include breakfast for one person, but there is an additional 2.50 per person each day for city tax. If there is more than one person in the room, there is an additional fee of CHF 20.00 per day for the Double Rooms.

Sorell Hotel Ruden

Address: Oberstadt 20, 8200 Schaffhausen 

This room block has been filled/is closed. Sorell Hotel Ruden is located in a faithfully restored guild house from the 14th and 15th centuries, with modern furnishings and newly renovated bathrooms. This 30-room hotel is located in the middle of the pedestrian zone of the picturesque Schaffhausen Old Town, and is a 5-minute walk from the train station.

The Ascent Pharma Summit room block at Sorell Hotel Ruden includes standard single rooms at CHF 153.00, Economy Queen Rooms at CHF 163.00, Standard Twin rooms at CHF 173.00, Standard Queen rooms at CHF 173.00, and Superior Twin rooms at CHF 203.00. These rates include breakfast for one person, but there is an additional 2.50 per person each day for city tax. If there is more than one person in the room, there is an additional fee of CHF 25.00 per day.
