Attire Guidelines

In April, you can expect an average daytime high of 85˚ and an evening low of 74˚, rarely falling below 71˚, so you’ll want to bring summer clothing, as well as another light layer, such as a jacket, for evening functions.

Daytime Attire:
Casual and comfortable are key.

  • Shorts, t-shirts, lightweight shirts and tops, sundresses.
  • Walking shoes, sneakers, and/or sturdy sandals. Rubber-soled footwear is recommended for the deck of a boat.
  • Attire appropriate for your selected excursion (please refer to the activity descriptions for more details.)

Beach, Pool, and Water Activities:

  • Swimwear, sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen.
  • Cover-ups or t-shirts for walking through public spaces.

Golf – Resort Sportswear:

  • Bermuda-length shorts, skirts, khakis, collared shirts (no jeans).
  • Golf shoes with hard rubber, plastic, or other non-metal (soft) spikes.

Business Meeting – Business Casual:

  • Capris, long pants, or khakis (no jeans).
  • Blouses, collared shirts, or other appropriate tops.

Evening Attire:
Resort casual takes on a slightly more sophisticated flair by night.

  • Welcome Evening, April 20 – Casual Comfort
    • Appropriate attire includes sundresses, polos, button-up shirts, or comfortable tops with cotton pants, shorts or skirts.
  • Farewell Evening, April 22 – Resort Elegant
    • Appropriate attire includes sundresses or collared shirts/dressier tops with pants or a skirt.
  • Free evening – Resort Casual
    • Casual attire is appropriate in most resort restaurants and nearby restaurants.
