We strive to host inclusive, accessible experiences that enable all individuals to fully engage. NPN will work with speakers, facilitators, and presenters to center disability justice throughout the conference, and will share best practices for ensuring an accessible experience with all attendees.
Closed Captioning (CC) and an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter will be available throughout the event, including Live Captioning (CART) and Real-Time ASL during live content.
If you have other questions about accessibility, please email Katie Kulp (NPNConference@conferencedirect.com) by the end of the day on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
This guide is meant to serve as a resource for attendees before, during, and after the event. Please see session information for further details.
LIVE CAPTIONING (CART)
Captions will appear at the bottom of your screen. You can turn them on and off by clicking on the Live Transcript button on the bottom toolbar of Zoom.
CLOSED CAPTIONING (CC)
Closed captioning will be available for all pre-recorded and live content.
CHAT FUNCTION
We actively encourage you to use the chat function to interact with and react to the program at any time. When you are in your virtual session, please click on the Chat button at the bottom of the screen. This will open the chat panel and let you send messages to all panelists and attendees.
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL)
An ASL interpreter will automatically appear on the screen. You do not need to pin the view of the interpreter. For the best viewing experience, we recommend viewing ASL on your desktop.
ZOOM AND PRIVACY
We are using the ConferenceDirect Zoom for business license and your privacy is of utmost importance to the NPN. This event is only available to registered attendees and can not be shared to any outside sources. Please do not share your platform sign-in information to anyone.
