OVERVIEW

Glycemic variability is associated with prolonged length of hospital stay and increased post discharge mortality. Consensus guidelines by the Diabetes Technology Society suggest potential benefit of using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems in the inpatient setting to improve overall glycemic control and to decrease hypoglycemia. Join our diabetes experts who have been at the forefront training and educating clinicians to successfully implement the use of CGM systems in the hospital setting. The 90-minute live symposium will be simultaneously streamed live for online attendees, who will have an opportunity to participate in a 2-way conversation with faculty and ask questions related to the content discussed during the live event.
