Chapter Leadership Seminar
The National Hemophilia Foundation’s Chapter Leadership Seminar (CLS) brings Chapter Executive Directors and Board Members, together with Industry Partners, NYLI, and NHF Staff and Board of Directors, from across the country for three days to participate in a series of training activities.
This annual seminar aims to:
- Improve Chapters' capacity to fundraise
- Provide innovative programs and services
- Grow advocacy impact
- Share non-profit best practices
- Discuss many other topics that improve Chapters' abilities to provide meaningful programs and services to people living with bleeding disorders
This year’s Chapter Leadership Seminar will be a fully in-person event. We will be following the best medical and scientific recommendations set by the Center for Disease Control, including the implementation of a detailed set of safety guidelines and procedures. All plenary sessions will be recorded and available to be viewed on-demand after the seminar.
Venue and Dates
This year’s CLS will be held in beautiful and sunny Scottsdale, Arizona at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas from November 14 to 17, 2022.
Vaccination Requirement
Please note the National Hemophilia Foundation requires all in-person attendees to provide proof of vaccination (fully vaccinated) in the effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19. All attendees, NHF employees, including/plus all chapter networks staff, volunteers, and board, traveling to a NHF event will be subject to this vaccination requirement. Fully vaccinated means 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine. To attend CLS, attendees need to be fully vaccinated by October 30, 2022. NHF strongly recommends all attendees to have the booster shot as well. For medical or religious exemption, please contact Michael Craciunoiu, Vice President of Chapter Services, at mcraciunoiu@hemophilia.org.
Mask Policy for Attendees
Face coverings (masks) are optional. However, NHF encourages attendees to wear a mask throughout the seminar if they are, or someone in their home is, immunocompromised or at high risk for severe illness. All attendees should be mindful and respectful of other attendees' health choices. Masks will be provided to those who do not have one.
