What health and safety precautions are being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
NHF is committed to creating a safe and healthy environment for all of our community members: consumer, chapter, providers, presenters, exhibitors, and staff. However, while vaccinations, negative COVID tests, observance of safety protocols, and exercise of personal discipline may reduce risk, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 does remain in any public place where people are present. For more details, click here.

Are masks or face coverings required?

We are making it optional to wear masks at Washington Days. Wearing a mask is a personal choice and we ask that everyone makes their choice responsibly. Given the numbers of individuals coming from around the country, we encourage attendees to wear a mask throughout the meeting if they are, or someone in their home is, immunocompromised or at high risk for severe illness, or if they have a child who is 4 years of age or younger and thus is currently ineligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. All attendees should be mindful and respectful of other attendees' health choices.
