Getting Industry to Net-Zero by 2050

The 2023 IGUA seminar explores the challenges of decarbonizing Canada’s trade-exposed heavy industrial and pragmatic solutions. We will also advance the dialogue with other key actors to start building consensus on the necessary next steps and reduce the disconnect between the differing visions for transforming Canada’s energy system and the energy mix of Canada’s heavy industry. We will examine the gaps between political aspirations for 2050 and the near term. We have invited an array of impressive speakers to explore the different facets of the energy transition.
