Dr. Martinez is a clinical neuropsychologist with more than 11 years of extensive experience in the neuropsychology field. She is the Director of the Integrated Cognitive Rehabilitation Program at the University of Rochester Medical Center and also runs the outpatient Neuropsychology Service within the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at UR Medicine.
Prior to joining PM&R, Dr. Martinez ran a successful private practice that provided diagnostic and assessment services for children, adolescent, and adults in the greater Washington, DC area.
Presently, Dr. Martinez provides direct patient care serving the diagnostic categories of chronic neurological disease (i.e. MS, spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, and other neurological conditions). She is focused on helping individuals improve their performance, adjustment and general sense of efficacy in their lives. Her clinical interests include cognitive rehabilitation; neuropsychological and neurocognitive evaluations; and adjustment from medical illness.
Dr. Nanavati is motivational speaker, an integrative family physician, and an author with a passion for leading people toward improved wellness, self-care, and peace in life. He has written for local magazines; taught end-of-life care to physicians, families, and caregivers; and worked in rural, suburban, and urban settings. He believes that overall wellness is a primary means of disease prevention.
Originally born in India, Dr. Nanavati moved to Rochester, New York, as a child and eventually earned my biology degree, with minors in philosophy and literature, at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also attended St. George’s University School of Medicine.
Jaime Rosa Campeau, is a Speech Language Pathologist whose areas of specialty include cognitive-communication disorders, pediatric and adult dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria and apraxia. Jaime also provides services as a part of the Integrative Cognitive Rehabilitation Program at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Healther Coles is a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist with the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). Her areas of expertise include (but are not limited to) speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing rehabilitation. She serves as part of the Integrative Cognitive Rehabilitation Program at URMC.
Christopher Stavisky is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Science in the School of Public Health and Health Professions at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. He currently teaches Occupational Therapy courses focused on cognitive rehabilitation, kinesiology, orthotics and prosthetics, pain management, and medical conditions. He also facilitates interprofessional education sessions and learning experiences across healthcare disciplines and has completed the TeamSTEPPS Master Training by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. His research interests include human motivation, cognitive rehabilitation, and the scholarship of teaching and learning in Occupational Therapy education.
Stavisky is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in the areas of physical disabilities and cognitive rehabilitation. Areas of special clinical interest include brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, and upper extremity prosthetics. He also has over 10 years of experience as a coach for the Rochester Rookies, an adaptive sports program, based in Rochester, NY, for individuals with physical disabilities. Stavisky is an active member in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM), and the ACRM Chronic Brain Injury Task Force.
Dr. Horvath-Finestone is an Associate Professor of Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester Medical Center where she also serves as part of the Integrative Cognitive Rehabilitation Program focusing on helping cancer patients live well long into survivorship.
