Responsible Business Leadership (RBL)!

RBL Overview

At this critical moment in history, the world needs responsible leaders to guide our businesses, schools, and communities through the complex challenges we face. Responsible business leaders are committed to making a positive and lasting impact.

Responsible Business Leadership (RBL) is a year-long certification program designed for business school graduate students to develop leadership skills in conscientious decision-making, compassionate capitalism, and sustainable business practices. Preparing students to act with compassion and integrity, this program builds leaders who create diverse and inclusive cultures within their organizations.

Grounded in Jesuit educational traditions and drawing from ethical leadership practices, the RBL program provides theory, coaching, and experiential learning to develop conscientious leaders. This program will help you identify your core values and build skills to face unexpected challenges with clarity and purpose. You will cultivate a growth mindset through introspection and learn to better understand the perspectives of others to foster innovative business cultures. The certification will set you apart in the job market and help you become a dynamic and responsible leader the world so desperately needs right now.

Your leadership is called for and your vision is needed.

RBL Certification Steps

GSB offers six steps to developing responsible business leadership. These steps are outlined below.

Students need to complete four of these steps to receive the Responsible Business Leadership certification. Two of those four steps must be Leadership Assessment and attending one Sustainability Workshop.

All students who complete the Responsible Business Leadership certification will receive recognition during the RLB end of year celebration and at their graduation ceremony. Students who complete all six RBL steps, will recieve special recognition at these events.
