Susana Moscoso, BSN, RN, BMT-CN is a Clinical Trial Nurse Navigator with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College in St. Louis, Missouri. She holds a further nursing certification in Bone Marrow Transplant from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC). Susana began her career as a Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant nurse at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, caring for children and their families at the bedside. She then took a position as a Bone Marrow Transplant Coordinator, working with the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant team to manage the care of patients who were proceeding to stem cell transplant.
Most recently, Susana was the Quality and Data Manager for the Division of Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian. She was responsible for the accreditation of the cellular therapy program and reporting of data to the Center for International Bone Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) among many other responsibilities.
Susana has been with LLS since September of 2021 as the CTSC’s only bi-lingual Clinical Trial Nurse Navigator.
