Yes! Additional charges will apply if you would like to bring a guest to Mexico. An additional fee of $400 will be collected during registration. This fee covers the cost of your guest's all-inclusive stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay, ground transportation, and all meal functions during program dates. The CARS air team can book your guests' flights when booking yours. You must provide credit card payment for your guest's flights. Activities can be purchased for your guest during registration.

Resort attire is casual during the day. A hat is highly recommended as the sun is strong year-round. Don't forget to pack shorts, t-shirts, and swimwear. Bathing suit cover-ups and shoes must be worn in reception areas, restaurants, and lounges. Bug spray and sunscreen will be provided to you upon your arrival.
We highly recommend packing swimwear or lightweight clothing, and a hat, in your carry-on bag, so you may get comfortable right away upon arrival at the resort!

If a guest is accompanying you on the trip over the program dates, you are required to remit payment for the cost of their trip. This transaction would be completed during registration. If you and/or your guest are staying outside of the program dates, you will submit payment for those nights directly to the resort upon your departure.
The official currency in Mexico is the Mexican Peso. Foreign currency may be exchanged for Pesos at banks, in airports, and at hotels including Secrets Vallarta Bay. Secrets Vallarta Bay provides complimentary internet access in all guest rooms and public areas. Before using your cell phone, ask your carrier to add an international plan to your service that will work in Mexico. International plans and additional rates added to your cell phone usage while in Mexico will not be reimbursed. Email is the preferred means of communication while off-property, as they experience a higher rate than calls and text messages.
At the time of publication, U.S. citizens are allowed a duty-free shopping quota of $800 per person, as long as the items are in your possession. Included in the exemption is a maximum of one liter of alcoholic beverages, if you are over the age of 21, and one carton of cigarettes.
