OVERVIEW

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a highly prevalent, chronic gastrointestinal disorder. GERD that remains undiagnosed and/or undertreated can result in serious complications, including erosive esophagitis (EE), esophageal strictures, Barrett esophagus, and esophageal adenocarcinoma. In this live, interactive townhall, expert faculty will discuss the latest evidence regarding the diagnosis and management of GERD and EE, including new medical therapies. Faculty will use patient cases to contextualize clinical information that learners can apply in their own practices.
