You’ve been accepted as a presenter for the 2022 Head to Toe conference. The largest school health conference in New Mexico, Head to Toe is celebrating 28 years. As a presenter, you have the opportunity to reach more than 500 school health and behavioral health professionals, including school nurses, counselors, social workers and administrators, as well as school-based health center staff and advisory team members from across the state.

Materials
Speakers are responsible for bringing their PowerPoint slides to the conference. WiFi will be available but we recommend downloading a copy on a USB drive for back-up. We also ask that all speakers include this evaluation slide within their slideshows. This important slide allows participants to claim credit for their attendance.

Compensation
Workshop speakers are asked to serve on a voluntary basis.
Conference Attendance
Presenters are offered a 50% discount on the registration fee. Speakers wishing to take advantage of this offer should register online using the special code that was emailed to you from the conference office.
Mileage
If you need your mileage covered, the conference will reimburse $.625 per mile for speakers driving more than 60 miles to Albuquerque. A mileage reimbursement form can be found below. Please complete and return your completed form to the conference management office at the conclusion of the conference or by November 30.

Lodging
The conference will provide lodging for speakers traveling 90 miles or more, for the night prior to or following your presentation. If you wish to add additional nights, the cost is $121 per night, plus tax.* Speakers requesting lodging must do so by October 1, 2022. We cannot ensure reservations after this date. The conference office will make your reservation and have the hotel send your confirmation via email. Your room and tax will be charged to the conference master bill. You will be asked for a credit card at check-in to cover any incidental expenses (i.e. telephone, internet access, movies, etc.).
*As of September 1, 2022, the government rate has increased to $121/night, plus tax. Our negotiated group rate was the current government rate.
