John Masarenhas, MD

 
Dr. John Mascarenhas is a Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and a member of the Tisch Cancer Institute in New York City. Dr. Mascarenhas is the Director of the Adult Leukemia Program and Leader of Clinical Research within the Myeloproliferative Disorders Program at Mount Sinai.  As a clinical investigator in malignant hematology with a focus in translational research involving MPNs, he is primarily responsible for the clinical trials portion of the Myeloproliferative Disorders Program at ISMMS. Dr. Mascarenhas is also the Principal Investigator (PI) of the clinical trials project within the National Cancer Institute sponsored Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Research Consortium (MPN-RC). He has served as PI or Study Chair of multiple investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored early and late phase clinical trials evaluating innovative approaches to the treatment of MPNs and secondary leukemia.

Cesar Rodriguez, MD

 

Dr. Cesar Rodriguez is a hematologic oncologist at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, where he is an associate professor of medicine and is the clinical director of the Multiple Myeloma Program.  He completed his specialized training at Harvard Medical School in Boston and his current area of interest is new drug development, including immunotherapy for the treatment of Multiple Myeloma.  He will talk about updates in myeloma research and how clinical trials have advanced treatments in this area. 

Suchitra Sundaram, MD

 

Dr. Suchitra Sundaram is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Hematology and Medical Oncology) at the Tisch Cancer Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  Dr. Sundaram provides clinical care fully dedicated to patients with lymphoma (non-hodgkin and hodgkin lymphoma) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).  Her research focuses on the development of novel targeted therapies in lymphoma and CLL and studying practice patterns and clinical outcomes of lymphoma in the real world setting.
