Nearly 30% of Costa Rica is set aside as national parks or nature preserves, and Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in Costa Rica and is rated as one of the seven most beautiful National Parks in the world. The ride along the Pacific coast to Manuel Antonio is scenic and takes about an hour. Once at the Park, an experienced naturalist guide will take you on an informative hike. Your guide will teach you about the park's distinctive plant life and point out some of the resident fauna, including 109 mammal species such as three species of monkeys, agouti, three-toed sloth, and 184 species of birds. Two beautiful white sand beaches protect coastal rainforest, a mangrove swamp, coral formations, and twelve islands that serve as seabird sanctuaries. You will have time to swim at one of its beaches.
After time to explore the Park, lunch will be provided at the El Avion restaurant. This restaurant is perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean and is built around a C-140 transport that has a fascinating story.

The Tranopy Zipline Excursion begins with a 30-minute tram ride through the forest over tumbling cascades with a professional naturalist guide pointing out some of the secrets of the primary and secondary rainforest that surrounds you. From there it's time for the exciting zipline down the mountain. The canopy zipline features ten cables – five of which are over 200 meters long (that’s two city blocks!). The longest is the fifth, stretching an impressive 316 meters over the rainforest. All in all, over one mile of cables will take you through everything from the rich rainforest ecosystems to sweeping views high above the forest floor.
