BREAKOUTS A (TRACKS)
For 25 years, millions of people throughout our country have come to trust 211 in their most vulnerable time of need - whether a personal crisis, natural disaster, pandemic or direction on meeting a specific need. Let's take an inventory on what is working well and how these strengths show up in our community and the IR industry. Let's also explore what is next for us, including how we help, how we build our network strength in a rapidly changing world and how we leverage technology solutions to advance our capabilities.

The Launch of 988: Learn about the national launch of the 988 dialing code for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Many 211s throughout the country are providing the 988 service and other 211s are identifying ways to become involved. In addition, the impact of 988 on the 211 service is yet to be determined as protocols for de-escalating crisis calls are still being worked through. Come gather and share information!

ALICE & 211 Data: A One-Two Punch!: This Lightning Session will introduce the audience to the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) research and how these measures can be used with 211 data. Presenters will share examples of ways that 211 and ALICE data can be used together, including for hyper-local community impact strategies, regional community investment, and state level policy advocacy. This interactive session will include time for audience questions and discussion.

Breakouts B (Tracks)
Across our 211 network, leaders are discussing how to make 211 even more impactful as a national tool. While there are elements (like a national data platform) that could be part of our future, how do we come together as a single network to design what our collective future holds? From this conversation, we will develop topics of discussion for all attendees during the afternoon World Cafe table sessions.

My United Way & 211: Working Together and Innovative Fundraising for 211: Join 211 Leaders from across from Arkansas to Michigan to learn about how United Ways can work together better and how 211s can be more innovative with fundraising. Michigan 211's Hassan Hammoud will share his challenges running a statewide network and how he and his team have found success in funding equity and strategic planning with United Way and independent 211s. Additionally, you will learn how some United Ways are breaking ground with their 211s to use American Rescue Plan dollars to fund a community information exchange, sharing staff and leveraging funds to serve ALICE. Arkansas's own Dallas Mudd will share how to take the blinders off 211 to increase partnerships that can increase funding. His "Of course we can do that" attitude will help to encourage you to be a part of problem solving and innovative conversations that keep 211 relevant.
