Jon A. Kaswick, MD

Urology Symposium

October 7-8, 2022
Waldorf Astoria - Las Vegas, NV

Welcome!

A Message from the Chair, Co-chair and Planning Committee

Please join us in Las Vegas for the 2022 Jon A. Kaswick, MD Symposium for an exceptional two-day program featuring a wide variety of relevant, engaging, and timely Urologic lectures, discussions, and debates.  This year we are hosting a very special event featuring speakers who are connected to Kaiser Permanente – either as a prior Resident of the program or a current or past KP Urologist.  We hope this helps to unite our KP physicians, to help familiarize ourselves with the fantastic work being done by our KP Urologists and alumni, as well as serve as in-person reunion after two years of virtual programming.

Highlights of this year’s program:

  • Latest on the focal therapy for prostate cancer
  • Minimally  invasive surgical options for treating BPH and Integrating HoLep into your practice
  • Up-to-date information on the 2nd and 3rd line treatment of overactive bladder and urinary tract infections
  • Modern management of urethral strictures and bladder neck contractures
  • Transgender Care for the general Urologist
  • Pediatric surgical trends: here and abroad
  • The 2cm renal stone  - what has changed with the available laser technologies and mini-perc options
  • Special Alumni Spotlight section highlighting the latest work from our distinguished Alumni
  • Updates from each Urology department at SCPMG

Our goal is to provide the latest Urologic data and evidence that will advance your knowledge and understanding of these disease processes and help integrate this into your daily practice.

This symposium will provide an opportunity for our Kaiser Permanente Urology community to reconnect, network, and collaborate during this two-day in person event.  We look forward to having an opportunity to strengthen our Kaiser Permanente Urology community with comradery, knowledge, and expertise.

A dinner will be held Friday October 7th for those affiliated with the KP Urology Residency to celebrate the career of Dr. Jon A. Kaswick and the launch of the KP Residency Alumni Association. An invitation will follow soon.

We warmly encourage you to attend and be a part of this fantastic program!
