LEARNING OBJECTIVES


At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Formulate strategies to reduce risk in teens who use social media
  • Screen adolescents for various mental health issues and social media use
  • Counsel families about what to expect in the gender incongruence care experience within KP
  • Perform an appropriate and timely clinical assessment in pediatric patients presenting with common acute illness
  • Counsel regarding plant-based diets, vitamin monitoring and growth for pediatric patients
  • Review the types of genetic testing that are available and refer for genetic consultation when necessary
  • Appropriately prescribe probiotics when necessary
  • Assess & treat common eye problems and refer to Ophthalmology when necessary
