LEARNING OBJECTIVES


At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Incorporate research advances into clinical practice where appropriate
  • Apply Pre, intra & post operative considerations with complicated refractive challenges in cataract surgery patients
  • How to manage patients with complex cornea disease who require cataract surgery
  • Use improved framework when encountering challenging medical and surgical retina cases
  • Utilize new systemic and local therapies to evaluate & treat uveitis patients
  • Detect early signs of glaucoma using new medical, laser-based, and surgical interventions to prevent progression
  • Use new therapies to treat pediatric retina or appropriately refer
  • Identify and triage patients who have ocular tumors
  • Incorporate new advances in uveitis management
  • Identify barriers to care and how to address them to improve patient outcomes
  • Identifying the best approach to partial thickness corneal transplantation
