As we seek to build momentum and support for evidence-based trust in elections, new technologies are rapidly being developed to increase accessibility for remote voters and verify identities, with a goal of enabling end-to-end (E2E) verifiable voting systems in the future. Join MITRE on Thursday, September 15th as we explore the unfolding E2E verifiable voting technological ecosystem, the essential role of independent verification, and the future of evidence-based trust in elections.

But these same technologies can create unintended consequences for democratic processes, mission critical systems, and citizen privacy. As AI-powered innovations become more prevalent across high-stakes environments, addressing AI assurance topics such as trust, security, bias, and ethics has never been more important.
