Your health and safety is our top priority.

As we plan for conference, your health and safety, while enjoying an exceptional education and
networking experience, is our top priority. APA-IL has given thoughtful consideration to create health and safety guidelines.

Here is how we protect your safety onsite.

• If attendees are fully vaccinated, proof of vaccination will be required. (Attendees can upload an image of their vaccination card during the registration process.)
• Unvaccinated attendees will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test that is not more than 48 hours old.

What if you are exposed or get sick right before conference?

Attendees who register but are subsequently unable to attend because they have been exposed, develop symptoms, or are diagnosed with COVID-19 per the Waiver of Liability and Release can receive a refund or partial refund.

Attendee Responsibilities

Before Leaving Home

• Follow relevant guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control
• Adhere to government-issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you are traveling from as well as the state, county, city, and venues you are traveling into.
• Evaluate your own health and that of people you are in close contact with
• Stay home if you feel sick

Onsite During the Conference

• Follow guidance from your local health authority for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (or an alcohol-based
  sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol).
• Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.

Waiver and Liability Release
