Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the official visit to the United Kingdom by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit planned for 14 - 16 September will not take place.
In consultation with the Royal House of Norway and the Norwegian Government, Innovation Norway has cancelled the accompanying business delegation from Norway to the United Kingdom.

By 2030, the UK is aiming to become a world leader in the "fourth industrial revolution", with smart automation and artificial intelligence. British and Norwegian companies already cooperate closely on smart transport and mobility, fintech, health tech, and technology for creative industries. The plenary session will highlight how the UK and Norway together can lead the way in the fourth industrial revolution by promoting creative thinking and pushing technological boundaries.

The exhibition is a marketplace and networking arena open to all participants of the plenary opening. Participants will be able to meet companies supplying innovative solutions to different industries such as health, mobility, food production, music, and film. The overall theme is scale up and growth, with access to markets and capital being central. The exhibition will feature scheduled meetings between companies, partners and investors. In this part of the programme, the aim is to follow up the discussions from the plenary opening and execute on cooperation in the different tech and creative industries.
