Event Information for CAB Speakers

This website has been curated for NTTVC leaders who will be speaking at our CAB sessions on May 27 and/or May 28. Please do not share this link, as website content differs by attendance category. 

Travel Dates

This event will take place at various locations in Indianapolis, Indiana. Speakers should arrive Thursday, May 26. The departure date depends on your optional participation in race-related activities.

  • If you don't want to attend the Indianapolis 500, you may depart the afternoon of Saturday, May 28, or the morning of Sunday, May 29. 
  • If you do want to attend the Indianapolis 500, plan to depart the morning of Monday, May 30.​

Airfare

Speakers are expected to arrange their own airfare and charge it to their home cost center. The closest airport is Indianapolis International Airport (IND), which is about 20 minutes from the hotel.

Hotel

Our events team has made hotel arrangements on your behalf at one of the hotels below. Your room will be charged to our event's master bill — it will not be charged to your home cost center.

Transportation

Our events team will arrange and pay for ground transportation on your behalf. Please provide your flight information during registration.

Although most of our off-site activities are within walking distance of the hotels, our events team will provide transportation to/from all planned activities. 

 

Thursday, May 26

Arrivals

All CAB speakers will arrive in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

  • Check-in at the JW Marriott Indianapolis begins at 4 p.m. EDT.
  • Check-in at the Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown begins at 3 p.m. EDT.

Speaker Dinner (Optional)

Time: 6:30 p.m. EDT
Location: Tony's of Indianapolis
Attire: Business Casual

Dinner will be arranged for CAB speakers. Attendance is not required.

Friday, May 27

CAB Rehearsal

Time: 8 a.m. EDT - 10 a.m. EDT
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Rooms 304-306
Attire: Business Casual

All CAB speakers are required to attend CAB rehearsal.

Pre-CAB Lunch (Optional)

Time: 12 p.m. EDT
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Rooms 309-310
Attire: Business Casual

All CAB speakers are invited to lunch before our session begins. Attendance is not required.

CAB Session #1

Time: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. EDT
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Rooms 304-306
Attire: Business Casual

All CAB speakers are required to attend this CAB session.

Reception and CAB Dinner

Time: 5:45 p.m. EDT
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Private Dining Room/NCAA Hall of Champions
Attire: Business Casual

All CAB speakers are required to attend our reception and CAB dinner.

  • The reception will take place at the JW Marriott Indianapolis' private dining room on the ground floor, where we'll be joined by special guests from Chip Ganassi Racing. 
  • At the conclusion of the reception, we'll proceed to the NCAA Hall of Champions for dinner.

Saturday, May 28

Breakfast (Optional)

Time: 7 a.m. EDT

All CAB speakers are invited to breakfast before our session begins. Attendance is not required.

CAB Session #2

Time: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. EDT
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Rooms 304-306
Attire: Business Casual

All CAB speakers are required to attend this CAB session.

Grab-and-Go Lunch (Optional)

Time: 12 p.m. EDT
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Pre-function space
Attire: Business Casual

All CAB speakers are invited to help themselves to a grab-and-go lunch at the conclusion of our session. Attendance is not required.

NTT Reception and Dinner (Optional)

Time: 6 p.m. EDT 
Location: Eiteljorg Museum
Attire: Business

In this activity hosted by NTT CEO Jun Sawada, we'll celebrate the various NTT activities occurring this weekend. Special guests will include NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers and INDYCAR executives. This activity is optional for CAB speakers.

Departures (Optional)

If you've opted to skip the Indianapolis 500, you may check out of your hotel and depart for home. You'll have access to your hotel room for the entire day, so there's no need to make arrangements with the concierge to hold luggage.

Sunday, May 29

If you've opted to skip the Indianapolis 500, you may check out of your hotel and depart for home.

  • Check-out at the JW Marriott Indianapolis is 11 a.m. EDT.
  • Check-out at the Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown is 12 p.m. EDT.

106th Running of the Indianapolis 500 (Optional)

Time: 7:45 a.m. EDT
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Lobby
Attire: Casual (no tank tops) with long pants and comfortable, closed-toe shoes 

This activity is optional for CAB speakers. Meet in the lobby of the JW Marriott Indianapolis at 7:45 a.m. We'll board transportation and depart via police escort for Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We cannot hold transportation, so please be on time! At the conclusion of the race, we'll board transportation and return to the hotel.

Post-Race Reception (Optional)

Time: TBD based on our return from the race
Location: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Private Dining Room
Attire: Casual

Join fellow NTT attendees for a post-race celebration with cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Attendance is not required.

Monday, May 30
