At 24, Alex Palou will contest his third season in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for Chip Ganassi Racing after a breakout 2021 season that saw him score three wins en route to the series title. He will continue to pilot the No. 10 NTT DATA Honda.
In 2020, Palou scored his first career podium at Road America in his rookie NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, while also impressing with a seventh-place qualifying effort in his first attempt at the Indianapolis 500.
Prior to that, Palou won a Super Formula Championship race in 2019, competed at the All-Japan Formula 3 championship in 2017, recorded his first race in the Formula 3 Series in 2015, and made his debut in open-wheel racing competing in the Euroformula Open Championship in 2014.

The six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion (2003, 2008, 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2020) and 2008 Indianapolis 500 winner returns to Chip Ganassi Racing in 2022 for his 21st season with the team and his 22nd season in the series.
Dixon holds the distinction of being the winningest active INDYCAR driver with 51 victories, and is currently ranked third on the all-time INDYCAR win list – behind only Mario Andretti (52) and AJ Foyt (67). In addition, he ranks second on the all-time list for most consecutive starts dating back to the 2004 race in Michigan, and his six titles ranks him second all-time to only AJ Foyt with seven.
Along with a legendary INDYCAR career, Dixon has also made a name for himself in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship by winning the Rolex 24 At Daytona in 2006, 2015, 2018 and 2020.

At 31, Marcus Ericsson joins Chip Ganassi Racing for his fourth season in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES after a breakout 2021, which saw him win his first two races. He will continue to pilot the No. 8 Huski Chocolate Honda.
During his rookie season in 2019, Ericsson scored his first-ever podium with a career-best finish of second in Detroit. He also had six laps led on the season and completed 88.5% of the laps run.
Prior to his time in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, Ericsson completed his fifth year in Formula 1 in 2018 with a total of 97 starts. The Kumla, Sweden native is a two-time champion (Formula BMW UK, 2007; Japanese Formula Three, 2009), and has twice claimed the Swedish Junior Racer of the Year award (2007, 2009). Prior to that, he competed in British Formula Three, GP2 Asia and GP2.

Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson returns to Chip Ganassi Racing for his second season in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. He exclusively raced road and street circuits during his rookie season in 2021, but will participate in the full NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule — including the legendary Indianapolis 500 — in 2022.
The California native began his record-breaking NASCAR Cup Series career in the No. 48 car in 2001. Since then, Johnson recorded 83 wins, 232 top-five, 374 top-10 finishes and 36 pole positions en route to seven championships, including five in a row from 2006-2010. He ranks sixth on the NASCAR all-time wins list, is a two-time Daytona 500 winner (2006, 2013) and is a four-time Brickyard 400 winner (2006, 2008, 2009, 2012).

Tony Kanaan has established himself as one of the sport’s most popular drivers during a career highlighted by a 2004 NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship and 2013 Indianapolis 500 victory.
In 25 seasons of NTT INDYCAR SERIES racing, the Brazilian has 387 starts, 17 wins, 15 poles, 78 podiums and over 4,000 laps led. He holds the “Ironman” record for most consecutive INDYCAR starts at 318, having started every race since Portland in 2001 through the first race of the 2020 season in Texas.
Kanaan previously piloted the No. 10 NTT DATA Honda during the 2015-2017 seasons with Chip Ganassi Racing, and he continues to be a valued member of the NTT DATA Racing family.
