The start of the new school year will require new approaches to dealing with the continuing effects of COVID and the impact on students' learning and socio-emotional wellbeing. Multi-tiered systems of recovery and interprofessional collaboration are needed to reorganize school resources and reconceptualize effective instructional practices. This will require attention to the wellbeing of both students and educators, as highlighted in the CASEL characteristics of connection and capacity.
This offering is ideal for school psychologists, other mental health professionals, administrators and RTI/MTSS coordinators. It is ideal for school teams that can attend together, as they will be able to maximize the application of this offering using a community of practice model.
