Rules for trip conducting

Attire – applies to pre-cons, desk duty, and advancing events

  • Professional skirt or trousers and either an MMI uniform shirt or a pre-travel agreed upon shirt color. Stay away from patterns – stick to solid colors: Navy, Black, Khaki, Grey, White
  • No jeans
  • No athletic shoes or casual sandals (Birkenstocks, flip flops, etc) – good choices are ballet flats or dress sandals or “dress sneakers” for women, loafers or “dress sneakers” for men
  • No shorts, tank tops, or sundresses
  • Nametag worn at all times 
  • Keep accessories to a minimum (one bracelet or watch, minimal jewelry)

Hygiene:

  • You must shower every day. If you have a 5am shift, take a shower the night before.
  • It’s a good idea to carry breath mints with you – it’s a fact that stress causes bad breath 

Behavior:

  • You are always being watched! No swearing, no drinking beyond a glass of wine with dinner, no smoking, no rude, loud behavior. If you go to the spa, pool or beach, keep a low profile. You never want to look as if you’re “on vacation.” 
  • When in doubt, mirror the behavior of the hotel staff – we should look like hotel staff, not hotel guests. 
     

Agenda app updates

Adjusting a pre-existing agenda item:

  • Click on Registrations/ Registration Settings
  • Agenda & Options / Agenda/sessions
  • Find the agenda item you want to adjust and click the edit button
  • Adjust time/date

Adding a location:

  • Click on Registrations/ Registration Settings
  • Click Locations
  • Add location / save
  • Click Agenda/sessions
  • Find the agenda item you want to adjust and click the edit button
  • Under the session name, choose the location from the drop-down menu

Syncing changes to the mobile app: 

  • Go into the mobile app
  • Click sync settings
  • Click full resync
     


PHOTOSHARING MODULE / DOWNLOADING PHOTOS

Here are instructions on how to download the photos uploaded to the APG mobile app. 

  • Log into Stova from your laptop
  • Click into the app section
  • Find your event app
  • Click edit
  • At the top of the app edit details, click Reports
  • Under the photo sharing section, click Export and choose the range of photos
  • Once clicked, it’ll take a second but then click Inbox
  • After clicking Inbox, click on the Photostream Report and a Download Report button will appear
  • Once you click the button, you’ll get a zip file to your downloads on your computer and it’ll include the photos you need
     

ADDING/UPDATING PDF FILES IN THE MOBILE APP

  • Log into Stova from your laptop
  • Click into the app section
  • Find the event app
  • Click edit
  • Under the module list, find the specific area you’re needing to modify (Vendors/Training/Show Specials), click the edit icon
    • If you’re adding a brand-new PDF:
      • Click the Add Item button
      • Name the item 
      • Click Choose File under the PDF section and find the PDF to upload
      • PDFs must be under 10MB
      • Click Save
    • If you’re replacing a PDF:
      • Find the item from the list you’re looking to modify
        • Click pencil edit button
        • Under the PDF section you’ll see a Remove button
        • Click Remove
        • Click Choose File and upload your new file
        • PDFs must be under 10MB
        • Click Save
