In this connection ‘grassroots’ is intended to reflect the basic outcomes of parks and recreation to provide health, activity, socialisation and environmental settings, as well as where sporting elite performance has its start.
Hosted at the brand-new Centrepiece at Melbourne Park as our backdrop, this year’s theme will address recreation and physical activity; horticulture and gardens, parks and open spaces; health; and economic and socio-economic benefits and sport.
